No.

This is mixing competition, not a remix competition. Pretend that for two weeks you have received this track from a client and you have to deliver your best mix possible. That being said, if you really can't live without moving sections around, we won't stop you, but that way so you're making it difficult for other people to judge your work and compare it to others. You will also probably get less points in the voting phase.

Simply because at the end of each month, users are able to share their sessions, hence everybody needs the same toolbox. However, don't take this as a limitation. Stock plugins are great (just not as fancy looking). Spend time to learn how to use them and you'll see the results.

Unfortunately not. At the moment the only "reward" is the chance of downloading all the other contestants' projects at the end of every contest and getting some constructive feedback by lots of users on the REAPER forum. But hey! Feel free to spread the word. Who knows... maybe one day ;)

Absolutely. However FLAC files are lossless as well and they weigh less. Please do not send me files in other formats.

LUFS stands for Loudness Units Full Scale. LUFS are used to measure the perceived loudness and it's very important to meet the target loudness in order to have a constant perceived volume throughout the whole listening experience.

First of all, you need a Loudness Meter. I suggest you use either the Youlean Loudness Meter, but if you google "free loudness meter vst/au" you'll find others as well.
Then you need to put your loudness meter on your master track (after your limiter) and adjust the threshold on your limiter until you have a solid -14 LUFS (integrated value).
You can make this process quicker using the Loudness tool included with the SWS extension. Analyze your mix and tweak the limiter threshold until you get to -14 LUFS.

If your submission is too heavy, that means you're also trying to send me the source files you've downloaded from this website, which I don't need. Go to the rules page to see what it is required to submit.

The answer is yes and no. In the real world, if you have a deadline you have to be punctual. Period. But it's true that this is a contest and I don't like leaving people out.
If you submit your mix 2 days before the results come out, it is a hard no (besides the fact that you won't obviously win). If you missed the deadline by 2 days, then it's fine, don't worry.
Just keep in mind that late entries are just extra work, so please be respectful :)

Only once.
